DStv Installation
If you’re setting up DStv at a new place or starting fresh, we’ll supply and install everything for you. That includes:
- 80cm or 90cm satellite dish
- Smart LNB
- Coaxial cable neatly run
- Secure wall mounting
- Full dish alignment using a satellite meter
- Decoder connection and test
We install all DStv decoder types, including Explora Ultra, PVR, and HD Single View models. We’ll also show you how to use the remote, find channels, record shows, and stream online (if your decoder supports WiFi).
DStv Repairs and Signal Fixes
Getting an E48-32 error? Decoder stuck on one screen? Losing signal during rain?
Common repairs we handle:
- Realigning dishes that moved or tilted
- Replacing damaged or cracked LNBs
- Fixing splitters and cable joints
- Swapping out faulty decoders
- Fixing wall brackets and dish poles
- Reconnecting cut cables from building work
We bring signal testers and spare parts, so most jobs are sorted on the same day. We also test all repairs before we leave.
DStv Dish Relocations
If you’re moving to a new place in or near Pretoria West, we can uninstall and reinstall your full DStv system.
Our relocation service includes:
- Carefully removing your dish and cables
- Transporting them to the new location
- Re-mounting and aligning the dish
- Running new cabling if needed
- Reconnecting decoders, ExtraView, and TV points
- Full signal test and setup check
We make sure everything works exactly as it did before—or even better.
ExtraView Setup and Multiple TV Rooms
If you want to connect more than one decoder under the same DStv subscription, we’ll help with ExtraView setup.
We handle:
Smart LNB setup or heartbeat cable install
Linking 2–3 decoders correctly
Signal distribution for smooth performance
Extra TV points for bedrooms or other rooms
Signal boosters if required
You can watch different channels in different rooms while keeping one subscription.
Dish Alignment
A slightly misaligned dish causes freezing, sound issues, and missing channels. We check dish angle, signal strength, bracket tightness, and LNB quality.
We use a satellite finder to align the dish accurately to Intelsat 20 and Eutelsat 36B. We also check the cables and decoder to make sure the problem isn’t something else.
Alignment usually takes under an hour and improves signal quality straight away.
Decoder Setup and Cable Work
If your decoder is new or you’ve upgraded your home entertainment system, we can connect everything neatly.
We help with:
HDMI, RCA, or AV cable connection
Setup to smart TVs or surround sound
Decoder software updates
Connection to WiFi for Explora streaming
Cleaning up cable mess and tucking away wires
If needed, we also mount TVs on the wall and hide the cabling properly.
